It's been ages since I wrote a  new journal. I decided to give traditional art a shot, it's been over 12 years since I have used paints so this is something really new for me. I'm not sure if I should share my artworks on here, but you can follow me on Facebook here:

At the moment I'm dabbling with watercolours, I want to create a series of animals and then I will move onto acrylics. Oils will be last on the list. If you guys have any tips regarding traditional painting let me know

I have started painting traditionally, It's going really slow so far, as the last time I painted something on a canvas was over 12 years ago. There is a lot for me to learn and I need to practice patience, a lot of it! I'm not sure if I will be posting any of it here, as at the moment it's just boring landscapes and it's mainly just for practice.

Does anyone know where one could purchase a wacom graphics tablet? An actual store somewhere in Joburg, South Africa rather than online? The post office is on strike, so I would like to purchase it physically

On a personal note, I wanted to help out with the charity thing like I did last year but I'm not so sure I will be able to since a little birdy told me there will be no 13th cheques/Christmas bonuses this year. I've asked work people/colleagues to give me their old clothes, canned food, old toys etc. but it seems this year everyone had it tough. There is still some time till December so I will collect what I can.

I might be looking for a new job next year, I need a change of scenery and a fresh start. I applied for an art lecturer job but it seems that position is uncertain, so will be looking for other things. I could try freelance in art, but I'm not so sure I would want to, I am scared I will kill my passion for it.

It's been a few months since my break-up and we have both grown stronger and happier since then. We both made peace with it and there is no bad blood between us, like some break-ups tend to go. Hopefully in the future we can be friends

I think that's about it concerning my life, otherwise no other news really.
